EE 555: Fundamentals of Intelligent Systems

Professor Mohamed A. El-Sharkawi
University of Washington

Intelligent Systems are a collection of analytical tools for solving complex problems. These tools include artificial neural networks, evolutionary computations, swarm intelligence, particle swarm optimization and  fuzzy systems.  Intelligent methods are often combined among themselves and with knowledge elements, as well as with more traditional approaches such as statistical analysis, to solve extremely challenging problems.
